Dr. Aliye Karabulut-IIgu is the director of the Office of Curricular Assessment and Teaching Support. She has a PhD in Education from Iowa State University. Dr. Karabulut-IIgu manages administration of direct and indirect measures of curricular and student outcomes including surveys, course evaluations, and other college-wide assessments, and faculty development initiatives.

Ms. Vy Vo serves as Instructional Technology Specialist II, joinining the group in 2023. She is responsible for developing and facilitating workshops and seminars on instructional technology and effective teaching. Implements instructional technologies and provides faculty development and instructional design assistance. She earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University in 2020 and has worked at Iowa State Univeristy since then.
Melody Gustafson

Ms. Melody Gustafson serves as the Program Assistant for the Office of Curricular Assessment and Teaching Support, joining the group in 2009. She offers many years’ experience in data collection, data management, and communication skills as well as a broad base of knowledge in support operations. She earned her Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science and Speech from Coe College.
Dr. Becky Burzette, Ph.D.

Dr. Rebecca Burzette is an Assistant Scientist in the Office of Curricular Assessment and Teaching Support. She is responsible for using appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data and for writing reports for the purpose of curricular improvement. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1994 and has worked at Iowa State University since 1995.
